We're excited to announce that FastMoto is now the official fantasy league platform for the Australian Supercross Championship (AUSX)! This is your chance to compete in the AUSX Fantasy League, which will run across the five rounds of the championship, offering motocross fans an exciting way to engage with every race and earn rewards.

UPDATE: AUSX Riders will be available to pick in your team closer to the date. Stay posted via emails, socials and The Clubhouse notifications for when the riders go live.

Here's everything you need to know to get started and make your picks count!

How the AUSX Fantasy League Works

The AUSX Fantasy League will run across the five rounds of the Australian Supercross Championship, giving you the chance to assemble your dream team of riders and score points based on their real-world performances.

At the beginning of each round, you'll need to select a team of 10 riders. These riders will compete in both the SX1 and SX2 classes, with your job being to pick the ones you believe will earn the highest points based on their finishing positions.

Team Structure:

• 10 Riders Total: You'll select a mix of riders from both SX1 and SX2 classes.
• FastMoto Rider (Double Points): Choose one rider to be your FastMoto Rider, who will score double points for the round. Picking the right FastMoto Rider can make all the difference in your fantasy score!
• Reserve Rider: You'll also select a Reserve Rider in case one of your starting 10 doesn't make it to the gate or finish the race.
• Once your team is locked in before the race starts, it's time to sit back and watch the action unfold, keeping an eye on how your riders perform on the track!

Fantasy League Point Scoring System

Your fantasy team will accumulate points based on how your selected riders place in each round. The scoring system is straightforward and follows the real-world finishing positions of riders in the championship.

Here's how the points breakdown works for rider placings:

1st place: 25 points

2nd place: 22 points

3rd place: 20 points

4th place: 18 points

5th place: 16 points

6th place: 15 points

7th place: 14 points

8th place: 13 points

9th place: 12 points

10th place: 11 points

11th to 20th place: Points decrease by 1 for each position, down to 1 point for 20th.

In addition to finishing points, your FastMoto Rider will earn double points, making them a crucial selection each round. If your selected FastMoto Rider finishes in 2nd place, for example, they will earn 44 points instead of 22, giving you a major boost.

What to Expect Across the 5 Rounds of AUSX

The AUSX Fantasy League will follow the five rounds of the Australian Supercross Championship, which means you'll have five chances to fine-tune your team, pick the right riders, and climb the leaderboard:

Round 1: 12th October 2024 - Get ready, it's a double-header weekend with Rounds 1 & 2 back-to-back. So the team you pick for Round 1 will be the team you run for Round 2 also. So pick wisely. 

Round 2: 13th October 2024 - Second night of the double-header. 

Round 3: 2nd November 2024 - Mid-season shake-ups mean opportunities for big points. 

Round 4: 15th November 2024 - It's the Boost Mobile Supercross Sprint Round at the Adelaide 500. The stakes are rising, and the leaderboards are heating up. 

Round 5: 30th November 2024 - The grand finale, AUSX OPEN! Every point matters as you push for the top spot and the ultimate prizes.
